Lady of Lawers

A member of the Scottish Breadalbane family, Lady of Lawers was married to Campbell of Lawers and she was believed to possess the power to tell the future. Her predictions are said to be recorded in a book with the shape of a barrel, which is stored in Taymouth Castle's charter room, it is called 'The Red Book of Balloch'. Each forecast was centred on the house and land of Breadalbane.
