This means "The Science of Breath" and was the title of a book translated by the Pandit Rama Prasad. The book was translated from the Sanscrit and the breath refers to the breath of Brahman, which gave life. The book claims that Brahman's breath contained the five elements of nature, which matched man's five senses. This idea is known as Tatwas. It is believed that the knowledge of Tatwas leads to great power, and so all actions should be commenced at times which are thought to be propitious from the movements of the Tatwas within the body. The book contains important yoga methods with this in mind.
